Goodness of God
Delay is not Denial

I just want to take a moment to give God a high note of praise and thanks. I have proven God in so many ways, but I would like to share one testimony of God’s goodness with you all.
I can remember when I made the decision to recommence studying I had applied to my local university to do a program they were offering. However, I didn’t get into the program. I was told that at that time I didn’t have the years of managerial experience that they had required. After securing the years of experience they required, I reapplied and they ‘lost’ my application, but assured me that my application would be processed for the next period. At this point, I felt so defeated, as rejection is not easy.
I later learned of a scholarship program and decided to apply. Thankfully with much ease, I got into the program. The same morning the University offered me the scholarship, and they asked me to check my email and confirm the offer. While checking my email, I saw an email with an offer from my local university also making me an offer to do the program I had applied for.
Of course, I took the scholarship program; it is free, the university is prestigious and accredited and I can do my studies in my own time versus face-to-face learning, which suits my busy lifestyle.
In conclusion, it is not that God forgot me, which is evident in me still gaining a place at my local university, but He was working out something that was greater than what I was asking for and more beneficial to me.
God is amazing! My encouragement to you is that delay doesn’t mean denial. Pray and trust God that He is working on your behalf. Be blessed!
